Your pictures of Flagstaff are colorful and gorgeous, Yuly! Students would probably enjoy making their own slide shows also, maybe to demonstrate their comprehension of a certain area. Thanks for sharing!

Great idea! In several of my classes, we do extensive reading with graded readers. This would be a great way to promote books that students have found interesting!

I love your photo, by the way - the background is cool and you look so "content"! Yes, let's chat! Are you on Facebook? I will keep an eye on the group's Chat group here, too, to see when we are both online.

How was the JALT Conference this year? I have lost touch with JALT things, although I do still get meeting notices from Hiroshima and Kita-Kyushu. Wasn't the conference supposed to be in Kita-Kyushu sometime soon?

Hope to talk again soon!

Thanks for the comment, back. So exciting to have such a full inbox these days! I will let you know when I post my photo.
P.S. curious as to why you chose black for your background colour...!

Hi, Mary!
Nice to see you again. Sorry that we are only in contact through EVOs. I did manage to go to Inari Shrine in Kyoto in the summer of 2008 with all of my family. I didn't get nearly as good a photo of the red gates as you did, though. I will have to find it and post it to my Flickr page...
I look forward to learning with you again!

How do you like living and working in Japan, Mary? It's such a different culture... Yes, Carla, Erika and I work together at the Casa Thomas Jefferson. They are great people and friends and I've learned a lot from them. Cheers.

Hi Mary! I am also excited about learning from you and all the others. You are in Japan, right? Are you staying there temporarily?
